Dog Training at Cognit Canines
Here at Cognit Canines, I understand that every dog is different so that is why I offer a range of services to suit all types of families and canines. Whether you are a complete novice or looking for something more challenging, Cognit Canines will have something just for you and your canines.
Please note these are hourly sessions and not a course, so you can book as many sessions as you want week by week! This creates flexibility as sometimes we can't always commit to courses. With all appointments however, there is a 24 hour cancellation policy. Upon booking your first session, you will receive your very own loyalty card to keep track of your sessions.

Puppy Training
Getting a new puppy is one of the most exciting times, however your puppy will soon grow so it is good to put in some basics. Training does not just benefit you but also your puppy, you will be surprised how tired puppies are after a training session!
Cognit Canines offer's personalised puppy training plans, where I will cover the following and more with you and your bundle of joy:
- Puppy recall
- Stay for beginners

These sessions are perfect from 10 weeks to 6 months of age, however if you are unsure please get in touch.
Adult 1-2-1 Training
Sometimes classes for some dogs just isn't right, they might find classes too stressfull or overwhelming. Perhaps you are looking for a indivdual experience? Here at Cognit Canines, adult 1-2-1's are designed around you and your dog, whether you want to work on something specific to general training. I can offer a range of fun and educational sessions for both dog and owner.
Every session is different, where we cover the below and more:

- Heelwork (Competitive and looselead)

- Beginner Gundog work
- Kennel Club Good Citizen practice and advice

- Trouble shooting for ringcraft - if you have a particular problem you are facing in the ring, do let us know! We have managed to help quite a few exhibitors facing hurdles.
These sessions are perfect for dogs aged 16 weeks and upwards and have some basics in place. Please get in touch if you are unsure.
Day Training
Sometimes it can be difficult to find the time to train your dog with hectic lifestyles. Here at Cognit Canines, I offer Day Training where I train your dog for you.
This can range from puppy to advanced obedience, we will discuss what you feel you need to train whether it is a simple sit to recall to competitive heelwork! This service also includes any ringcraft preparation and additional handling services.
Whilst I may train your dog, a handover will be given to discuss what training has taken place so you can keep it up at home.
These sessions are booked at an hourly rate, you will be given video updates of your sessions along with a mini write up on how your dog has performed throughout the session and the next advisable steps.
These sessions are ideal for any age and any breed! Please get in touch if you are require additional advise.
Online Advice Session
Sometimes we just need some advise on what to do for the best! This is where Cognit Canines steps in. Whether you are unsure on what breed would suit your family, rescue dog advise to needing help with some training, Cognit Canines can advise with all!
